Absorption and Desorption Plants

By absorption gases and fluids are solved in liquid. CETEC constructs this plants with packed columns. Special designs are possible.

Desorption or Stripping is the reversed process of Absorption, i.e. the dissolved gas/substance is regenerated and recovered from the solvent.

Waste Water Stripping

Most of the waste water from pharmaceutical, chemical and petrolchemical industries contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Waste Water Stripping by means of steam or air reduces the organic load to such an extent that this purified water can be used for other applications.

Gas and Exhaust Air Washers

The separation of NH3, H2S, SO2, CO2, hydrocarbons and odorous substances from gas mixtures or exhaust air are typical application examples.
